HR Manager

Job Description

1.Manages and directs employee recruitment, relations, retention, training and health benefit activities

2.Develops and recommends new procedures which reflect changes in company objectives

3.Administers and communicates employment policies, procedures and programs

4.Reviews and advises management staff on matters dealing with discipline, employee assistance and workers' compensation/safety to ensure adherence with company policies and procedures and legal requirements

5.Directs, develops and implements effective employee communication programs through in-house publications and other communication tools

6.Works to promote open communication between employees and management to promote a positive working environment

7.Reviews and monitors written employee performance evaluations, disciplinary actions and other human resources-related matters to identify potential problems and/or issues of concern

8.Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

1.A minimum of 5+ years of progressive human resources experience in a medium to large organization with experience leading teams and assessing human resources services

2.A minimum of 3 years in the role of a HR manager in iGaming industry.

3.An affinity for the service sector is essential

4.Demonstrated success in HR systems and HR policy/practice

5.Experience with negotiation and influencing at senior management levels

6.A leadership style that will incite enthusiasm, provide vision, create positive morale and act as a role model for standards of professionalism

7.Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary to support a diverse associate population as well as the growth of First Nations associates

8.Strong facilitation and interpersonal skills are essential

9.Ability and willingness to develop presentations as required

10.A track record of effective human resources decision-making and an "urgency to execute" attitude is essential for this fast-paced environment

HR Team Leader - Japanese English / Mandarin English

Main Responsibilities

Need to be good at or focus on being responsible for the following focused modules

1. Recruitment: responsible for the recruitment and onboarding process, including the development of job descriptions, interview docking, inbound docking, development and issuance of Offer Letters, onboarding process, recruitment requirements consolidation, recruitment report recording and other related work content

2. Employee relations: including counseling, disciplinary and dispute handling procedures

3.Attendance/performance management: performance appraisal and attendance-related management and optimization

4. Organizational structure/staffing: HR system, company organizational structure, staffing/staffing list management

5.Integration and process-oriented: good at personnel-related integration and process-oriented work

Qualifications and Skills

1.Fluent in Japanese or English, excellent verbal and written communication skills

2.3+ years of HR experience, BC industry experience a plus

3. Recruitment and talent management experience preferred

4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with employees at all levels

5. Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

6.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with daily work records and report management habits

Talent Acquisition Manager

We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager to join our team. The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for the recruitment process of the entire organization, this includes the design and implementation of different processes.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

1.Update current and design new recruiting procedures (e.g. job application and on boarding processes)

2.Keep track of recruiting metrics (e.g. time-to-hire and cost-per-hire)

3.Keep track of salary benchmark for competitive salaries

4.Implement new sourcing methods (e.g. social recruiting)

5.Research and choose job advertising options

6.Take care of calibration of candidates across the board

7.Provide coaching and advise hiring managers on interviewing techniques

8.Coordinate with department managers to forecast future hiring needs

9.Monitors and constantly reduces the costs of the recruitment process

10.Sets the social media communication strategy for different job profiles and functions in the organization

11.Conducts job interviews for the managerial job positions (or key jobs in the organization)

12.Designs recruitment training for HR department and line managers

13.Builds the professional network of the company by maintaining strategic relationships with partners, colleges and HR professionals

14.Define and execute an active sourcing strategy, in partnership with corporate recruiters

15.Identify and engage with targeted candidates, to stimulate interest and inspire their interest

16.Create a leading in-house Direct Sourcing capability - leveraging available candidate identification and attraction tools

17.Recruitment process is in alignment with regulatory Compliant

18.Build a talent pipeline with passive candidates

19.Manage platforms and tools such as LinkedIn and HRIS

20.Leading role in the design and implementation of our Employee Branding initiatives

21.Perform and support other duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications

1.Able to work proactively in a team

2.Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and HR databases

3.Familiarity with social media and other professional networks (like LinkedIn)

4.Strong communication and decision-making skills

5.Detail oriented

6.Excellent organizational and planning skills

7.Reasoning ability. Good common sense with ability to solve practical problems

8.Ability to effectively learn and acquire new knowledge and skills

9.Must have good IT skills, able to quickly learn how to use new platforms and programs

10.Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Knowledge & Experience

1.Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field required

2.Minimum 2+ years of experience in recruitment
